Dermal Filler In Ny
What are the licensing requirements to administer injectables in NY state?
I cant get a clear answer on this topic and come up with a zillion other things besides the answer! What level of education and licensing are required to be able to administer Botox and Dermal fillers in the state of New York? LPN, RN, NP, PA or MD? Be as specific as possible please!
All of the thins you list would be eligible to administer an IV, in addition to EMT’s who start IV’s and give injectables in the ambulance.
As for Botox, I would think this would be more regulated and limited to RN’s, PA’s maybe and MD’s of course. I doubt an LPN would ever give botox, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they are allowed to by law.
