Acne can be very mild, and it can result in some of lone blemishes, or it can be many when it occurs on the face, shoulders, back, chest, neck. These type of scars can also remain visible for the whole lifetime which is very ridiculous. Here’s what you can do to avoid getting these scars on your body, and if they occur however, just read below:
Acne Scars Prevention
Do not ever pick or squeeze your acne blemishes, this will spread infection which causes several damages to skin and it will also form new acne scars. Chamomile, lavender, bergamot, dandelion root and juniper along with poke root, witch hazel and burdock root can be used to reduce toxicity and it will also improve the skin condition and also will help against fighting acne. Vitamins supplements are also helpful in this case, Vitamins A, C, E and B6 are very essential for healthy skin. Avoid your skin from sun rays as it is also a valid reason of formation of acne scars on your face especially.
Dermal fillers such as collagen, hyaluronic acid derivatives and fat and polytheyl-methacrylate microsphers with collegen is injected directly into the acne scars to re-develop the surface of the skin, it will give a healthier look to your skin.
Punch Excision
There are various kinds of acne scars such as ice pack and deep boxcar scars, they can be treated with the punch excision method. This method uses a punch biopsy tool which is very much similar to a round, sharp cookie-cutter. It’s diameters are between 1.5mm to 3.5mm, and the correct size can be chosen to match different and various kinds of sizes of the scars. Anesthesia is also used to sort out the scar tissue and it will also suture edges together. If a new scar is formed in the old one’s place, it will be very much easier to treat them with a skin resurfacing method.
Laser Resurfacing Method
Laser resurfacing method is the most used and the most popular treatment method used in acne cure and in other skin defects and problems. YAG lasers and Carbon dioxide are the most common and frequent types used for the laster resurfacing of acne scars and skin. The beam of a laser controls the top layer of the skin which burns to a precise depth. Then skin is then healed itself by replacing the old skin with the newly formed skin.
There is not a single person in this world who likes acne or acne scars and everyone is looking for the cure of acne scars. I explained almost everything about the treatment of old acne scars in my article, by following the above methods you can also get rid of old acne scars.
