Botox or Restylane?
This totally depends upon the position of the wrinkle and what is causing it. Botox is ideal only for wrinkles generated by certain muscle activity; eg, frown lines, crows feet, and works by shutting down the muscle which lets the line fade away over time. Restylane is ideal for “filling in” age realted lines in the skin surface on the face. It is like a putty filler which gives an instant result. Generally Botox is better for the fine lines in the upper half of the face, and Restylane is more suited for lower half. It is possible to have both Botox and Restylane for some lines, eg, the frown line where Botox can physically stop the muscle from moving, and Restylane can instantly banish the wrinkle!
